After visiting two repair shops without resolve. I took my vehicle to Transmission of America. I feel the repair cost were fair and my vehicle is running better than it has in three weeks. I highly recommend this garage and will bring my car here for future repairs.

Mike and his team are clearly in it for the customer. They do all types of service, stand by that work and go the extra mile to make certain the customer leaves satisfied. In my case Mike and his team were honest, which is rare in the service industry. My 2004 Ford Freestar was difficult to diagnose but Mike and his team did all they could short of pulling the transmission down, which I chose not to do based on the life already on the car. Mike and his team went above and beyond for me and this is only the second time I had my car serviced by his group. It wont be the last. I recommend Mike and his team for all automotive service needs.

Be careful who you trust to fix your vehicle. My wife’s transmission got stuck in limp mode on her way to Knoxville, we took it here to get it looked at because it was almost 5pm on a Friday and no one else was open. When we got there the manager was extremely nice and was very assuring. He cleared the fault codes the the limp mode code and test drive the vehicle that immediately went back into limp mode. He told me they would have to take the transmission apart to find out what was causing the fault codes. It cost me $750 for them to take it apart, nonrefundable of course. I get a call a few days later with him telling me an entire list of parts that were needing to be replaced that would cost me with parts and labor another $3000. I couldn’t afford that at the time so I had the van towed and a month later I took it to another transmission guy. This new transmission guy took my transmission apart because was unable to read any fault codes because I had the original transmission guy keep the transmission out of the van to save time and come to find out there wasn’t any parts that needed to be replaced because come to find out IT WASN’T THE TRANSMISSION, it was the damn computer. What would have cost me only $1200 to put a new computer in has now cost me over $4000
