We had trouble with our Class C Motorhome transmission in Southern Kentucky and to find a shop with a lift to accomodate MH was not easy. Referred to Transmission Corp in Knoxville, called them and spoke with Mike. He said they were very busy but he would look at it if we could get it to him. He confirmed transmission problem and gave us 3 options, repair transmission, or replace with rebuilt or install new one. With the time and cost of repairing it we chose a new transmission which was ordered and installed the next day and waited until following morning for it to be programmed. We were then ready to go and test it out nearby for 30 miles, stopped back for quick check and we were on our way. We also had transmission cooler installed as recommended. We stopped by the shop on our way back from our trip and Mike checked it again, repaired small leak on cooler line and we were good. I can only express my gratitude for what Mike and his crew did for in us in just a couple of days .next time we come up your way, we will stop in to say hello. Thank you very much. Even though we ended up not using them to fix our transmission they diagnosed our car free of charge and told us what to expect for the repair. We decided to just sell the car but we're very pleased with the service we got. I totally recommend them!

5 stars for ALL at Transmission Corporation of America! Every interaction was positive. Through the process of my needed total transmission rebuild, all of my questions were answered quickly and in a language that I could understand. The staff left no questions unanswered. Ever. The most assuring part was... NO SURPRISES. I was never left feeling out of the loop or in the dark. I would highly recommend this company for transmission repairs but also any other vehicle repairs.

So I brought my BMW Z4 into the shop because I was having a problem with the transmission being stuck in high gear. The general manager, Mike, took the car for a test drive and hooked the car up to a computer to see what the problem was. In just a couple of minutes, he was able to determine that it was a faulty, weak battery that was tripping my transmission sensor and he reset the onboard computer and he handed me my key and told me I was good to go. I offered to pay him for his time, but he would not accept a payment. It is getting hard to find an honest mechanic or transmission technician nowadays, but these guys are the real deal. These guys are honest, and they have earned all my future business.
